Biography
Her training includes a Baccalaureate in Interpretation (first in the series of graduates), a Master's in Interpretation Piano at the National Music Academy of Bucharest (First Prize in Interpretation Piano, Chamber Music and Theory of Music), and a Doctorate from the University of Montreal.
Sustained numerous solo recitals and concerts with artistic directors and conductors of Symphonic Orchestras and performed chamber music recitals, and collaborated with numerous singers, composers and instrumentalists from Romania, Russia, France, Italy, Switzerland, England, Germany, USA, Korea and Canada. During her musical activity she built up a varied repertory, representative of different composers and styles and appeared on Radio and Television in piano recitals and interviews.
Her experience as voice coach and accompanist includes working at opera institutions - Opera of Brasov, Opéra Bastille (Paris), Atélier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal -, CAMMAC, International Vocal Arts Institute, collaborations with voice teachers from École Normale de Musique (Paris), Université de Montréal, Schulich School of Music of McGill University, and participations at contests and festivals as International Festival and Competition "George Enescu", NATS and Canadian Music Festival.
Several Canadian institutions rewarded her with scholarships of excellence: Conseil des Arts du Québec, the University of Montreal, Les Amis de l'Art of Montreal.
