Teaching Statement
I believe students can learn important life skills through the medium of music. Patience, perseverance, team work, and so many more skills can be honed through the study of music. I tailor every lesson to each individual, in order to best aid them with their personal and musical goals. I am a dedicated clarinet teacher, and strive to know the instrument inside and out. I believe in teaching with equal parts pedagogical method to explain and develop conceptual knowledge, and performance demonstration to inspire and develop the ear.
