Each student is different because each musical identity is different. The greatest joy teaching is helping students find their voice and walking with them every step of the way.
In my experience teaching, I believe that there is no one way of teaching rather, that every student has a path to walk towards greater musical education and as a result, it is important to find the best way to teach music for that unique individual.
Sometimes the best way to teach a guitar student to be more comfortable playing is to accompany them on a different instrument. But above all else, it should be fun! That's what I promise with my lessons, a LOVE for learning.
