Biography
I am a classically trained singer (Masters in Voice Performance, Opera Apprenticeship) and experienced educator (10+ years in mainly French and Music at the high school level). Over the years I have taught adults who wanted to sing for fun and learn a basic, healthy technique, as well as classes of students from 5 to 17 years of age the musical basics through to the finer points of German Art Song. For 4 years I also coached members of an auditioned Toronto children's choir 'mini lessons' that addressed basic technique, diction and interpretation.
Studio Policies
I want my students to learn a healthy, straight-forward technique, as well as how to tell a story through the music and the lyrics. Above all they should finish their lessons feeling a sense of accomplishment and enjoyment. Cancellations 24 hrs in advance. I am especially willing to travel to students'homes within the Place Saint Henri and Westmount areas.
