Teaching Statement
Andrew has been fortunate to have had some wonderful mentors during his time at Berklee. He understands the importance of having a collaborative relationship with his musical colleagues. His teaching style is influenced by this synergetic approach. He also strives to develop a unique teaching approach to each student. Whether the student wants to work on improvisation, technique, composition, Andrew can help guide them in any of these areas.

Bachelors of Music in Guitar Performance - Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusettes 2012-2016
At Berklee, he had the incredible opportunity to study with teachers and mentors such as Mick Goodrick, Joe Lovano, Hal Crook, Danilo Perez, and David Tronzo.
Biography
Andrew is a Toronto-born guitarist, composer and recent graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music. He began playing guitar at the age of 9, however his interest in music started at an early age with a curiosity for classical music. He has performed extensively throughout Toronto and Boston as well as at major jazz festivals. This includes the Monterey Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival, Beantown Jazz Festival, Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival and in Valencia, Spain. He has had the honour of performing with artists including Danilo Pérez, Terri Lyne Carrington, Bucky Pizzarelli and Sarah Mckenzie. He was also a 2015 Semi-finalist for the Montreux Jazz Guitar Competition in Montreux, Switzerland.
